The Grand Superintendent's Charity Retirement Fund Donation to Ayrshire Oncology Trust

Along with M. E. Companion James Kurth PZ, we had the pleasure of presenting a cheque to the Ayrshire Oncology Trust as part of my Grand Superintendents' Charity retirement fund. This charity assists patients and their families during their cancer treatment in ward 3A at Crosshouse Hospital. This was the ward where Companion Kurth received his treatment a few years ago.

Last week I had the pleasure of presenting another cheque to Darvel Community Trust, which organises various community projects in the Irvine Valley.

Both organisations were very thankful to the Companions of the Province for their generosity.

Saltcoats & Ardrossan RAC No. 223

Saltcoats & Ardrossan chapter recently held their annual BBQ, and the weather didn’t stop the companions from having a great time. MEZ Jim Taylor was in charge of the cooking and had a special apron for the occasion. Great to see the companions still getting together during the summer recess.
